The recent dramatic episodes of Pakistan’s (Pak) hilarious diplomatic statements on TV channels in the aftermath of Mumbai attacks have the potential to raise more TRP ratings, of the respective broadcasting TV channels, than Indian melodrama queen Ekta Kapoor’s Saas-Bahu serial episodes.
The antics of Pak authorities and their retorting statements after every Indian governments’ spine-chilling revealings of Pakistan’s terrorist Kasab’s statements in the media that can bury Pak’s image in the eyes of the international community are quite interesting to watch. Read further to know about the hilarious dramatic statements, war cries, contradictory statements, U-turns, and confused diplomacy of Pakistan.
This article tries to list out a few contradictory and U-turn statements of Pakistan’s celebrated democratic government in the aftermath of Mumbai attacks done by Pakistani-based terrorists.

India: Claimed that she caught a live terrorist named Kasab, who is a Pakistani national. Immediately, Pak authorities retorted saying no one from Pakistan is involved in Mumbai attacks.

India: Told media that a terrorist organization under the name of JuD is involved in the Mumbai terrorist attacks. Pak immediately retorted JuD is a Charity Organization.

India: Went to United Nations (UN) and argued that JuD should be banned because it is a terrorist organization. UN immediately banned and communicated the same to Pakistan. Pak accepted the same and straightway banned JuD saying that JuD is a terrorist organization. It also arrested a few activists but released them after 4 days saying there is no evidence against them that they are involved in terrorist activities.

India: Conveyed to Pakistani foreign office about Kasab’s request for a Pakistani lawyer to defend him during his trails in Indian courts. Pak’s foreign office immediately asked India to provide Consular Access to its citizen. However, the next day, they said they do not know who is Kasab and declared he is not a Pakistani.

India: Nawaz, Pak’s ex-PM, openly declared that Kasab is a Pakistani and gave news to the media in an interview that he himself saw that a huge police cordon has been blocking access to Kasab’s village in Pakistan. However, immediately, Pak’s President Zardari told media there is no such person in their population database. Then suddenly Nawaz came out saying Kasab is not a Pakistani.

India: Asked international community to put pressure on Pakistan to bring Mumbai attackers to face Indian law. Pakistan, next day, came out with a blast in its own city, Lahore, and told media that an Indian spy is involved in the attacks. Zardari upped his war cry by telling media that Pakistan will defend itself if India goes for surgical strikes against Pakistan until the last drop of blood. Following Zardari’s statement, Pak’s army started making war preparations in a hysterical way anticipating strikes from India, which already declared that her intention is not to wage war against Pakistan but terrorism.
In summary, the preceding retorting statements by Pakistan against every Indian stand, first accepting it and then doing an immediate U-turn followed with a contradictory statement on the next day, is nothing but proving itself as so funny with born “state” actors.
